Monolithic glass
Monolithic glass refers to flat glass formed by a single sheet of glass to differentiate them from composite glasses such as laminated glass or double glazing.
Thicknesses from 2mm to 19mm, all glasses (laminated, tempered, double glazing) are manufactured starting from monolithic glass.
Laminated glass
Laminated glass is the result of the union of several sheets of glass interspersed with one or more intermediate sheets made from polyvinyl butyral (PVB).
The union between these materials combines the transparency and hardness of glass with the elasticity, resistance to impacts and acoustic protection of PVB. In the event of breakage, the pieces of glass remain adhered to the plastic layer, without causing any type of damage or detachment.
At the same time that this material presents additional safety characteristics, the polyvinyl composition provides added acoustic insulation, as well as the possibility of adding aesthetic and design characteristics with sheets of different colors and textures.
These characteristics allow it to be used in both interior and exterior architectural solutions.
Tempered glass
FSTEM® curved tempered glasses have the same physical-mechanical characteristics, conferring greater resistance and safety to curved shapes. This type of glass can be made in different finishes ranging from a colorless float glass to a layer glass with solar control, as well as the possibility of making designs in vitrifiable paint.
Decorated glass
The decorated glasses are glasses made on monolithic glass in various ways. Our glass supplier F. Sole Glass Solutions, has acid-etched glass, printed glass, lacquered glass and glass with designs and images printed with vitrified digital screen printing.
They have a wide color catalog based on the RAL color chart.
